John E. Winner, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed peacefully at 87. He was a kind, gentle and bright man who was always there for his family and friends, a joy to be around, and had a great sense of humor. John was born in Pennsylvania and lived his early life in Maryland. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. John E. Winner, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed peacefully at 87. He was a kind, gentle and bright man who was always there for his family and friends, a joy to be around, and had a great sense of humor. John was born in Pennsylvania and lived his early life in Maryland. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After the war, he worked as a banker in New York until retiring to South Florida. He is survived by his wife, Diane, of more than 60 years, his son, daughter, grandchildren, and loving friends. John and his family are indebted to so many who helped him so graciously in his latter days. A special thanks to the staff of MorseLife, Chatsworth, Trustbridge Hospice, and the superb emergency care he received at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and Jupiter Medical Center.
